Budgeting for wedding flowers can feel pretty confusing. Most folks have only had to think about ordering wedding flowers once, so the concept of figuring out how much to budget for wedding day blooms feels super foreign! Never fear: Elise Coren Design can help you determine your budget quickly, smoothly, and with little to no stress involved.
Industry experts recommend allocating between 10 - 15% of your total wedding budget to spend on flowers. This budget may fall on the lower of the spectrum if you are having a very small wedding, and may need to extend beyond the higher end of the spectrum if you are having a large celebration (or if you LOVE flowers like we do!). This would mean if your total budget for your wedding is $40,000, your floral budget should be between $4,000 - $6,000.
Industry expertise set aside, your budget should ultimately be what you feel comfortable spending on your wedding flowers. If you want be more conservative than the suggested 10 - 15%, that’s totally cool! If you want to live lavish and expand your floral budget beyond the suggested spend window, go for it!

Events and Corporate Decor
Event flowers and corporate decor will vary in cost just like wedding decor. Determining your event or corporate flower budget is a little less percentage based than wedding budgets, however, and is based more on a) your overall event design vision, and b) what you feel comfortable spending on the flowers for your special day and space.
To get a rough idea of event flower and corporate bouquet pricing, here are some averages for popular event pieces!
Centerpieces: $50 - $500 each. The average centerpiece from Elise Coren Design is typically between $100 - $250.
Large Countertop Arrangements: $250 - $1,000. The average price for a large countertop arrangement from Elise Coren Design is between $450 - $850.
Bar Top Bouquets: $50 - $500. The average bar top bouquet from Elise Coren Design is priced between $100 - $300.
Budvases: $15 - $50. The average budvase bouquet from Elise Coren Design costs between $25 - $40.
Backdrop Decor: $500 - $5,000. This type of decor does not have as clear-cut of a cost “average” as the final price for your unique design will depend entirely on your overall event vision.
Plants and Greenery: Varies. Costs for plants will depend on the number of plants requested, sizing of plants, plant varieties preferred, and seasonal availability.
